...I like Babs' Burnside run. The costume is cool, and ever so slightly like a modern update to the classic purple and gold spandex the character sported back in the days of Adam West, and the comic itself is a fun, cute, surprisingly effective adventure. Sure, it's lacking Gail Simone. But it's good for a totally different set of reasons.



The start of a new career in a new area is always a steep learning curve, and Batgirl's move to Gotham's trendy Burnside neighbourhood was no different. Everyone makes a few mistakes when they're finding their feet, and I'm sure there are a few incidents Babs would rather everyone could just forget.
Fortunately, not even she remembers this early encounter with Mad Mod!
